U18's
The Western Gaels Minors resumed their Special League Campaign, after the Exams break, with a resounding victory over Drumlish/Dromard. This sets up a mouth watering final with Slashers which is scheduled for this Sunday, June 28th. (Exact details tbc).  It was a great display and the Gaels went in at half time 1-8 to 0-4 up after some brave defending from Niall Keane & Co. in Defence.  Shane Maguire was on target in the first half with the goal and some fine points with Daniel Howlin, Iarla O' Sullivan and Niall Nerney amoung the other scorers. In the second half the opposition fought back with a goal but the result was put beyond doubt with two second half goals from Iarla O' Sullivan and Oran Kenny. Sean Campbell impressed on his midfield debut while other players to catch the eye were Stephen Farrell in half back, James Moran midfield and Dan Howlin, Conor English and Iarla O'Sullivan up front.
U16's
Our U16's will resume their League campaign in the coming weeks with a Shield Semi Final V the winners of St. Dominics/Moydow Harpers and Ballymahon Forngney Gaels.  The quarter final due to take place this Friday and then we await the victors the following week.  The Special League will be due to start in the coming weeks with the Fr. Manning Cup due to kick off on July 1st. Again we wish Shane and all the County Juvenile's the very best in their endeavours with this competition!
U10's
Grattan’s U10s played a home blitz on wed last 17th june where they hosted Longford Slashers and Southern Gaels, in our first game we played Longford Slashers team 1 and our strength showed all through this game with some  great passages of play from our defence right up to our forward line, we ran out comfortable winners in the end, in our second game we played Southern Gaels where once again our height and strength at this grade is really coming to the fore the more we play these blitz’s, in our final game we played Longford Slashers team 2 , this was a good contest against a good balanced team, we again ran out comfortable winners, well done to all our panel on a great effort in all these games, our next blitz will take place on Wednesday 1st July when we travel to Killashee for 7pm , our panel from last wed : Dan Devlin, John McHugh, Kielan Ruske, Stephen Oates, Tessa Tiernan, Sarah Farrell, Harry Mulvihill, Willie Stokes, Niall Hawes, Jack Tiernan, Beau O Connor, Gavin Nulty.
