GRATTAN ÓG GAA
We have our first game in the Division 5 league on Sunday next 13th June away to Abbeylara at 12.30pm and followed then by another Div 5 league game at home in Dunbeggan Park to Legan at 7.30pm, in line with the return to play protocols only 100 spectators will be permitted to attend games from 7th June , this number is in addition to players, team personal, stewards or media attendees, it is likely that from July 5th up to 200 spectators may be permitted to attend games, the club will keep everybody updated on any other new developments in this area on their social media outlets etc.
Best wishes and a speedy recovery on a recent injury picked up by our club player Ronan Gorham.

MINOR CLUB
Training from U7 up to U13 continues every Monday from 7 till 8, there has been a fantastic turnout of numbers, all underage games commence from this Monday 7th june and we’d like to wish the very best of luck to all our players and their coaches for the rest of the season, remember you can checkout any upcoming fixtures and training schedule’s on our club calendar on our website https://www.grattangaa.com , thanks to our club secretary Mick Hand for keeping the calendar updated.
“PREDICT THE 1ST GOAL TIME”
Check out our new fundraiser launched last week “ Predict the 1st goal time “ based on the upcoming Longford v Carlow in the first round of the leinster championship on june 27th, each family has received a card , there will be spot prizes drawn from all returned cards for a Longford gaa jersey and some grattan gaels shorts & socks, all support for this fundraiser is very much appreciated , check out our social media outlets for more details.
LONGFORD COUNTY BOARD DRAW
Longford Gaa fundraising draw has recently been launched and all clubs in Longford have come on board and committed to selling 50 tickets per club, these tickets can be sourced online also but as a club we would appreciate that anyone interested in buying one can they do so through the Grattan Óg club and contact any of our committee who have these tickets to sell, the club will receive a token on all their 50 tickets are sold, before the main draw their will also be fortnightly draws for tickets that are sold before each date of these draws, all support for this draw is greatly appreciated.
MAISIES MARATHON
Our new club referee Hugh O’ Kane is raising funds for Children’s Health Foundation Crumlin, he is doing a run on the 4th july out to Clondra on canal and back , then 2 laps of the town canal, he would greatly appreciate any support he can get for this very worthy cause, check out this link to donate http://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/orla-collins.
