GRATTAN ÓG GAA
Great news last week form the government with the return of adult football allowed to resume this coming Monday 10th May, please see below a more outlined detail of the plan ahead issued by croke park, either way it’s a huge positive step for all players their families and all associated within Grattan Óg Gaa club.

Covid Update from Croke Park
From 10th May – Outdoor training is permitted at adult level in pods of a maximum of 15 people (including coaches). However, games are not allowed and indoor facilities must remain closed.
From 7th June (and subject to the Public Health situation at the time) – Club games will be permitted at all levels but must be played “behind closed doors”.
We are currently liaising with the relevant Departments to seek further information on the finer details of what will be permitted at various points in the recovery plan. For the moment, we would ask for your patience in relation to questions you and the broader membership no doubt have in relation to the various return dates and the specifics of what will be allowed. It is our intention to issue a more detailed communication to Clubs and Counties next week and once further information is available.

MINOR CLUB
It was great to get back on the pitch last Monday evening with a superb response of over 80 children in 4 age groups and 8 pods, well done to coaches and club officers for organising a safe return to play, our underage training continues every Monday from 7 till 8 with strict guidelines continuing to be in place with one particular guideline that needs to be adhered to going forward:
VERY IMPORTANT;
Only players and coaches of the relevant team should attend any training session. One Parent or Guardian per child (or per family if more than one child is attending from a particular family) is permitted to attend in a safeguarding /supervisory capacity involving any team in the U-18 or below age group, should they consider it necessary. However strict social distancing and public health guidelines should be adhered to at all times.
