COVID UPDATE FROM CROKE PARK The covid advisory group are due to meet this week to discuss their next step in relation to return to play, this is due to the recent developments in the north where Gaa is expected to return on 12th April. They also have decided in view of the ongoing covid situation the Player Injury Scheme will be extended to the 31st May 2021 rather than expiring on 31st march 2021. Keep an eye on any further developments on our social media platforms etc. CLUB LOTTO Our lotto can now be accessed online. Link can be found on our webpage ( grattangaa.com ) or contact any of our committee members for more details. We are heading towards a jackpot of €10,000 so all support is greatly appreciated in what would be a fantastic sum of money to win in these difficult times. Tickets can also be purchased in Stonepark Petrol Shop and left back in by 6pm every Sunday for collection for our draw which takes place later that evening, As always your support is greatly appreciated. Our draw results are posted on all our social media outlets & in the longford leader each week and can also be found on our notice board on our club grounds. Results ( 21/3/21 ) no jackpot winner Numbers drawn: 7-8-13-23 €20 winners: Maria Farrell; Eddie McHugh; Claire Reehill, Congrats to all our winners and the continued support from everyone GRATTAN LADIES CLUB LIDL CLUB PROMOTION Lidl have commenced a new fundraising initiative for ladies gaelic football across the country which started on February 15th All support is greatly appreciated for our ladies club to sign up on the lidl plus app, when a user spends €30 they will receive a stamp on their digital card, once you receive 6 stamps the card can be submitted, clubs that submit 50 cards will be guaranteed a reward starting from a full set of jerseys and up to €5000 in cash The 4 simple steps are as follows: 1. download the lidl plus app; 2. select club(grattan ladies) 3. spend over €30 and scan your lidl plus card 4. Submit completed card before Sunday 11th april Our ladies club also have a clothes collection ongoing at present, more details to follow in next week’snotes. LITTER We as a club were absolutely disgusted last week with the rubbish that was left on our grounds, it showed a blatant disregard for our surroundings and for the welfare of those that use our fantastic facilities, the bin located at the playground has now been emptied but we would ask in future if it happens to be full we would ask not to throw rubbish in an already full bin, as everyone will appreciate in the times we are in the bin is not monitored daily.
