We just came up short in our second round championship game v Ballymore on Sunday last 26th sept, our final round game v Dromard was conceded which was very disappointing, this year’s junior championship has been very disappointing to say the least and has been shown a complete lack of respect especially by those teams that pulled out even before and during the championship especially after the draws had been made earlier in the year, a serious review of the junior championship needs to be looked at going forward for it to survive. On a more positive note our semi-final is due to played in a couple of weeks where our opponents will either be Legan or Rathcline who play their group decider this coming Wednesday. Check out our club website for all club news www.grattangaa.com MINOR CLUB UPDATE Our underage training has now finished for the season for our U7s – U11s but our U13 are still competing in their championship with an upcoming semi- final to be played and we wish them well, congrats to our U15s on their recent feile shield success, hard luck to our U17 on their recent loss in their final, the future certainly looks bright, well done to all. NEW DEVELOPMENT We can look forward to the 2022 season with the full use of our new development facilities, it’s a fantastic achievement for such a small club to finally have this development completed even in covid times and we can look forward with great positivity to it been of huge benefit to all associated with our club, we hope to put a plan in place over the winter months on an official opening in 2022.
